DMS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and education of mineralogy, paleontology and the lapidary arts.
We have monthly meetings at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science, just north of Wilmington, Delaware.
Member-Only Events
Being a member of DMS, allows you to participate in field trips during the year to locations in Delaware and other states.
These field trips include quarries and other places not available to the general public. Sometimes the field trips involve other clubs where you have an opportunity to meet their members and share in the fun.
We also have special event field trips to museums such as the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC or the Museum of Natural History in New York City.
Announcements and signup for these field trips is made by direct email to members.
