Community Outreach

Sharing our passion…

As a member-driven non-profit, we seek to share our love of geology, paleontology and lapidary arts with the community.

We set up public displays, give demonstrations, provide educational resources to teachers, offer workshops, and more!

Recent Community Projects Include:

  • Providing mineral sample kits to local schools.
  • Setting up an interactive exhibit and geology or fossil based programs at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science.
  • Talking about local geology at fairs.
  • Bringing speakers from around the country and around the corner to our public meetings.
  • Donating quality specimens to local museums.
  • Setting up exhibits at local libraries.
